Geraldine Overlow

Geraldine Overlow Gerry, age 93, passed away on October 26, 2018. A lifetime resident of Akron, she retired from Springfield Schools and was a longtime member of Advent Lutheran Church. Gerry was looking forward to being reunited with her husband, Bill; sister, Betty; and brother, Bill. She leaves daughters, Cathy, Julie (Jim), Carol (Darrell) and her “fourth daughter”, Kay (Dan); grandchildren, Wendy (Dave), Emily (Ryan), Heidi, Sarah (Viktor), Tyler (Lisa), Corey (Miranda) and Kelsey (Clint); great-grandchildren, Sylvia, Keegan, Laina, Ryan, Hayden, Blaise and Kaydence. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their children, and also by all her wonderful friends and neighbors. There will be a memorial service at Advent Lutheran Church, 1516 Edison Street N.W. in Uniontown on Saturday, November 10 at 11 a.m. Memorials will go to Western Reserve Hospice.
