Glenn A. Horning

Glenn A. Horning, 86, passed away quietly on September 2, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Randolph, OH to the late Herman and Carrie Horning and lived most of his life in the Akron area. Glenn served his country in the U.S. Army. He had been self employed most of his life and his favorite hobby was golf.

Preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia, and daughter, Lisa Mudd and survived by Lori (David) May, Lynn (Rick) Reidl, Glenn Lee Horning, Larry Mudd (son-in-law), Greg (Gayle) Horning, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and companion of 20 years, Betty and her 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 9^th at 11 a.m. at Nativity of The Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held directly following mass in the church hall.
