Harold D. King

Harold Dean King, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Harold loved playing card games, watching westerns and sports, telling stories, doing puzzles, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed going back to his roots, West Virginia. Harold worked for General Tire for 40 years. He was a wonderful dad and the best Papaw. We will cherish his memory, miss him deeply, and love him always.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sharon Marie King; son, Cary Dean King; and siblings, Emogene Woods, Darrel King, and Donald King. He is survived by his son, Brian King (Irina); daughter, Melissa Schrader (Scott); grandchildren, Matthew Schrader (Rebecca), Sarah McAvinew (Jacob), Kaley Tarter (Nathan), David King, Daniel King (Amanda), Jacob Schrader, and Sophia King; great grandchildren, Noah, Adeline, Jasper, Juniper, Magnolia, and Ellie; and brother, Delmer King.

Calling hours will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Uniontown (3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685), with a brief service immediately following. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities (rmhcneo.org).
