Irene R. Arehart

Irene R. Arehart, age 89, passed away May 21, 2021. Born in Akron, she lived in Mogadore for most of her life. Irene was an active member of Southeast Church of the Nazarene. She loved reading, crocheting, and baking. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Don Arehart; parents, Sherman and Ila Wiley; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Arehart. She is survived by her children Darlene, Dale, and Dennis (Bea) Arehart; grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew (Lisa) Mangus, Dale M., Brandon and Dylan Arehart; great-grandchildren, Hayley and Jackson Mangus; brother, David Wiley; and sisters, Thelma Johnson and Lois Scott. The family suggests memorials to the Mogadore Fire and Rescue Department, 135 S. Cleveland Ave. Mogadore, OH 44260 or Southeast Church of the Nazarene, 771 Dunbar Rd. Tallmadge, OH 44278. Per Irene’s request, there will be no calling hours. A private family service is being held with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
