Jacqueline R. Alloway

Jackie Alloway, age 89, passed away November 17, 2021. Born in Akron on January 12, 1932, she was an area resident all of her life. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1950. Jackie’s joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents, Harlan and Pearl Jefferys; and brother, Donald. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Cassandra) and Richard (Tracy); daughters, Pamela (Donald) Eitner and Cynthia (Paul) Wiseman; grandchildren, Matthew Alloway, Lisa Allgood, Valerie Agnes, Keith Eitner, and Dale Donohoe; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Allgood, Luke and Kaitlyn Eitner; and sister, Shirley Taylor of Clarksville, TN. Friends and family will be received Sunday, November 21st from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22nd at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
