James D. “Jim” Conner, 64, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, leaving behind a legacy of faith, strength, and unconditional love.
Jim was born on November 2, 1961, in Canton, Ohio, to Wayne and Dorothy. He embraced life with a joyful heart and devoted himself fully to his family and the things he loved—BMWs, gas stations, the beach, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Those who knew Jim would agree that his greatest achievement was being a father. He was a constant source of wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support to his daughters, Kylie and Kami. He taught them to follow Jesus, lead with kindness, and never missed a sporting event or school activity. Jim always made time for his girls—whether it was going out to dinner, getting ice cream, or simply watching a movie together.
Jim shared 32 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Tracy. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and joy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; his daughters, Kylie and Kami; and his cherished dog, Zeke. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael (Camala), Rebecca Blinks (John), and Doris Haidet, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. The Mantheiy family held a very special place in his heart and were loved deeply—truly like family to him. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Dorothy, and his sister, Kathleen.
Jim’s faith in Jesus was the foundation of his life. While his presence will be deeply missed, his family finds peace in knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior. His legacy of faith and love will continue to live on in all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Stark County Young Life, a ministry Jim deeply loved and faithfully supported https://giving.younglife.org/s/
