James B. Krausse

On February 29, 2012, James B. Krausse, a kind and gentle soul went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born in Ft. Lee, Virginia on May 24, 1954, Jim lived all of his life in the Akron area. He was a lifetime member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. Jim took care of his grandma when she was not able to take care of herself. He was very loving and always took a special interest in others. Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his father, Albert; and grandparents; he is survived by his mother, Eloise; brother, Karl (Laurie); sister, Ruth; nephews, Tony, Paul, Duane, Andrew and Benjamin; many cousins; and lifelong special friends, the Gurnish Family.

Memorial service will be Monday, 11 a.m., at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Ave., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Reverend Brian Nutt officiating. Friends may call Sunday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, where an Elder Service will be held at 8 p.m. A private inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in memory of Jim.
