Judith A. Lauby

Judith A. Lauby, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones on March 26, 2022. 

Born September 16, 1936 in Michigan to the late Charles and Martha Shiltz, she graduated from Louisville High School. She lived in North Canton, where she raised her family, for 22 years and later moved to Uniontown. Judy was an active member of Advent Lutheran Church, where she was a pianist and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the National, State, County, and Lake Granges. She loved to travel and took many bus trips and cruises with the Uniontown Lions Club. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charyl; and daughter, Karen. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Lauby; sons, Doug (Judy) and David (Melissa) Lauby; grandchildren, Angie (Bryan), Megan, Kayla (Cameron), Jennifer, Amy, and Greyden; great-grandchildren, Henley, Michael, Melanie, Cameron (Sylvia), Mitchell (Lindsay), and Hannah; great-great grandchildren, Jack and Leanna; brother-in-law, Leonard; niece, Samantha; and nephew, Josh. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Advent Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. 

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 30th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 1516 Edison St. NW Uniontown, Ohio 44685. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 31st at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
