Kimberly Ann Hardy

Kimberly A. Hardy, 76, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2026.

Born in Akron, she was an Ellet High School graduate and lifetime resident of the area. Kim was a member of First E.C. Church. She was a homemaker, taking great pride in raising her family and making lifelong memories. She loved decorating her home for the holidays. But most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Henry; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Hardy; brother-in-law Jimmy Hardy; and brother-in-law James Behringer. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert F. Hardy II; sons, Robert F. Hardy III and Scott M. Hardy (Pam); grandchildren, Rachael (Matthew), Anthony, Robby, Allison, Morgan, Avery and Brayden: sisters Sherry Behringer and Beverly Henry; a host of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Daisey.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, August 26th from 10:30am to 12pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 12pm with burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Evangelical Church, 369 E.
