Leonard C. Gagen

Leonard C. Gagen and Wanda J. Gagen Leonard C. Gagen, age 81, passed away August 24, 2014.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was an Army veteran, and worked for the City of Akron.

Leonard was preceded in death by parents, Anna and Leonard; sister, Eleanor; and brother, Edward. Wanda J. Gagen, age 75, passed away January 21, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Wanda was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Rose Thornton; sister, Mary; and brother, Edward. Leonard and Wanda are survived by daughters, Karen Schnering and Karla Gagen; son, Kevin (Michele) Gagen; grandchildren, Michael (Teresa), Ricky and Anna-Rose; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aliyah and Katelynn. The family would like to thank Debbie, Lenore, Jeanette, Deanna, Ivy and Cynthia from Guardian Angel Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Cynthia Donels officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
