Margaret Lois Kirkbride, 81, passed away April 10, 2026.
Born in Akron, she resided in Tallmadge and Kent. Lois worked as a nurse and helped as a home room mother during her daughter’s school years. She enjoyed crafts, music, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loyal friend and be missed by all who knew her.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Myron Kirkbride; daughter, Cherilyn Kirkbride; grandchildren, Lindsey and Nicholas Burke; siblings, Troy, Susan, and Edna.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, April 18th from 11am to 1pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 1pm.
