Margaret E. LaGray

Margaret “Peg” Ellen (Gooden) LaGray, 66, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly at home in Rineyville, KY on Thursday, May 29th.

Born in Ellet on June 6, 1958, Peg is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gilberta (Olson) Gooden and her brother Tim Gooden.

She is survived by her husband, Howard LaGray, children Erin Reardon and Joseph (Kathleen) Reardon, stepchildren Shawn LaGray, Stacey Seman, Rachel Sipe and Jason LaGray, and thirteen grandchildren. She also leaves behind sisters Jayne Bower and Gretchen (Timothy) Shearer and multiple nieces and nephews.

In life, Peg enjoyed gardening and sewing, searching antique shops for a good find, and attending art and craft shows with her sisters.

An hour of visitation will take place Friday, June 6th from 10 to 11am at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. A service will begin at 11am with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
