Margie S. Sands

Margie Sue Sands, 77, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2026.

Born in Akron, she lived in the Norton and Lakemore areas throughout her life. Margie graduated from Springfield High School, going on to dedicate her life to raising her children and taking care of her family. She enjoyed camping and reading the bible, and loved when her grandchildren came to visit.

Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodney J. Sands Jr. She is survived by her children, Dustin Sands, Ivy Stewart, and Ann Sands; grandchildren, Josephine and Joey Sands; siblings, Alvin, Bob, Diane, and Linda. She is also survived by Doug and Mike Sands, who were like second sons to her.
