Mary Ann Cooley

Mary Ann Cooley, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2022.

Born in Akron, Ohio she was a resident of the area for most of her life, graduating from Ellet High School. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and loved Winnie the Pooh.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her 2^nd husband, Lloyd R. Cooley, and her parents, Albert D. and Mary M. Hites. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. Kackley (Robert); son, Daniel Malinak; grandchildren, Hillary “Andi” (Heather) Edwards, Marissa Kackley, Michael Kackley, MiKayla Schneider, Desiree Malinak, Xavier Malinak; brother, Richard Hites; niece, Karole Hites; nephew, Jim Hites; and many other family members.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 20^th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. with burial following at Hillside Memorial Park.
