Mary "Kathryn" Madlock

Mary "Kathryn" Madlock, 103, passed away November 17, 2014.

Born in Marietta, Ohio, mary lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a member of Trinity Nazarene Church, where she played both the piano and organ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1981; five brothers; and three sisters. MAry is survived by her sons, Frank of Akron and Gene (Linda) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; six grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Cripley and Leona Hershberger.

Funeral service will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Harold D. BRadley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggest memorials to Trinity Nazarene Church, 2780 Canton Rd, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
