Mildred I. Baab

Mildred I. Baab, 103 years, passed away June 30, 2013.

She was born October 30, 1909 in Greensburg, Ohio and was a resident of Green. Mildred was a homemaker and care giver for many years. She was an active member of Greensburg United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, was a youth director, coordinated vacation bible school and wedding receptions. Mildred was also a member of Greensburg Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Marion Baab. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Baab of Green; daughter and son-in-law, Connie Marting and Bob Massien of Cumming, GA; granddaughter, Alis (James) Foran of Brandon, FL; great grandchildren, Ashley, Hannah, Noah, Kendall, Taylor and Dalton. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Barbara Lohmeyer and friend, Pat Stiles.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street, (1 block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue) Uniontown, Ohio 44685 with Pastor Abbey Auman officiating. Burial at Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time.
