Myrna J. Jarvis

In Loving Memory Myrna J. Jarvis “YOM”, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on July 15th, 2021. Myrna was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in Uniontown. She graduated from Springfield High School. Myrna retired from Lorain Correctional Institution after 15 years of service. In 2001, she was named, Ohio Officer of the Year. Myrna enjoyed crafts, cooking, trips to Las Vegas, QVC, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Eleanor Coontz; brother, Richard Heltzel; and sister, Diane Morrison. Myrna is survived by her husband, Gerald Jarvis; sons, Richard Garske, Patrick Mullen, Michael Jarvis (Chris); daughters, Charlene Penn (Robert), and Aren Morical (Kirk); grandchildren, Jeff, Jessica, Jeremy, Ryan, Chance, Ayden, Iris, Josie, and Arleigh; great grandchildren, River and Denver.
