Nellie Jane Spitzer

Nellie Jane Spitzer, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on January 6. 2024.

Nellie was born and resided in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from East High School, and worked at Key Bank. Nellie was a member of Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church. Her hobbies were antiquing, music, and choir. She enjoyed Sunday drives, gardening and cooking.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Pride Francis and Bessie Bostick; brothers, Jim and Clay; and sister, Lillie. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, David William Spitzer; and sons, David and Neal.

Friends and family will be received Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Akron. A memorial service will immediately follow. 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
