Patricia A. May

Patricia Ann May (Ellington), 77, passed away on Saturday March 28, 2026. Born in 1948, in Akron, Ohio, she had a servant's heart, love for her daughters, family and life.

She was a proud graduate of Hammel Actual Business College where her journey began. She flourished at every professional opportunity that arose, but found herself at home where she retired from Superior Staffing. She left behind a legacy of excellence and mentorship, cherished by her colleagues and placements. Her heart pulsed with the warmth of family laughter, great friends and the occasion of celebrating life sharing a delicious meal. She found peace in her sanctuary of flowers, reminding her that life's truest beauty lay in the connection and gratitude she had with people and the simple things.

She walked closely with our heavenly Father, and had a silent, generous heart for those in need. She was raised attending Brown and Vine and Evangel Temple Assembly of God. She became a proud member with Cornerstone Free Methodist Church where she attended for forty years.

Patty will be forever loved and treasured by her family: daughters Julie Williamson (Sherman) and Joni Ramos; brother Thomas Ellington (Sue); sister Ruth Kruger (Mark); grandchildren, Jordan May and Elise Ramos. She was predeceased in death by her brothers, James Ellington and Paul Ellington, and her parents Winfred King Ellington and Virginia Lee Hazzard.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, April 4th from 12 to 1pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 1pm with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
