Urdiales, Patsy (Pat) G.- of Akron-Springfield, Ohio, age 80, died Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Stone Creek Assisted Living in Alliance. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 from 6-8pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd, Akron. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 25th from 10am-11am with Memorial Service starting at 11am. Pastor Russell Gumm of Alliance Friends Church will be officiating.

Pat was born September 27th, 1942, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to the late Hurshel and Genevieve (Greene) Hibbs. She graduated from Mannington High School in Mannington, West Virginia. Pat married John Urdiales on December 3rd, 1966, in Buffalo, New York. Pat was a committed stay-at-home wife and mom until 1982, when she started working in the kitchen for the Springfield School District. She later became a manager and retired in 2007, with 25 years of service. Pat had the gift of hospitality. You were always welcome at Pat and John’s house, and she would cook and feed you more than you could eat. She loved bowling, gardening, canning, and taking you out for Mexican food and margaritas. Pat was a trusted aunt to many nieces and nephews and a confidant to many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John. She is finally reunited with her John boy!

Pat is survived by: Sons Norman Urdiales, Tony (Michele) Urdiales, and daughter Debbie (Brian) Noble; 8 Grandchildren: John Urdiales, Taylor (Max) Feller, Drew (Allie) Noble, Megan Urdiales, Cory Noble, Adolfo Urdiales, Gabby Urdiales, and Hannah Urdiales; 1 great granddaughter: Blakely Noble. Pat was also preceded in death by her brothers: William and Vance Hibbs, and sister: Naomi Brown.
