Paula A. Trull

Paula A. Trull, age 96, passed away June 28, 2021. Born in Akron, she was a lifelong resident of Springfield Township. She graduated from Springfield High School, where she made lasting friendships. Paula was a homemaker and raised four children. She was a lifelong member of North Springfield Presbyterian Church and the Twins Club. She loved to be outside among her flowers, especially during the summer, and was an excellent pie baker. Paula was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Melvin Trull; her parents, Albert and Vera Bowen; three brothers; two sisters; granddaughter, Robin Donohue; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Donohue. She is survived by her children, Philip Trull, Paul Trull, Vera “Becky” Donohue, Claudia Trull; grandchildren, Rob Donohue, Monique Villareal, Olivia Holland, Melinda Donohue-Zeise; great-grandchildren, Bridget Zeise, Jansen Villareal, Ana Donohue, Elisa Donohue, Freya Holland; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Rd. Lorain, OH 44053. Friends and Family will be received Thursday, July 1st, from 11 to 12 p.m. at North Springfield Presbyterian Church, 671 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. A witness to the resurrection funeral service will be held immediately following at 12 p.m. with Rev. Patricia Moats officiating. Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
