Phyllis S. Strahler

Phyllis S. Strahler, age 86, passed away January 28, 2016. Born in Green Township, she lived in the Suffield area all of her life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her spare time, Phyllis loved to crochet. Preceded in death by her husband, Herman; grandson, Thomas J. Strahler; sister, Illa; brothers, Loy and Roger; she is survived by her children, Richard (Mary Lee), Linda Estes, Thomas, Paul, Doug (Tara) and Jeffrey; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and sister, Leonore. Friends and family will be received Monday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Procession will originate at the funeral home.
