Rejeanna M. "Jean" Gerbeth

Rejeanna M. “Jean” Gerbeth, 86, passed away October 12, 2012.

Born and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana, she lived in the Akron and Uniontown areas most of her adult life. Jean was employed as a Registered Nurse for Akron City and Barberton hospitals. She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Akron, and currently a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Uniontown. She loved flowers and gardening, and enjoyed traveling.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; and brother, Adolph Walker, Jean is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gerhart L.; daughter, Pamela (Richard) Scott; grandchildren, Tim, Laura (Lars) Larson and Brian (Jessica); and sisters, Virginia Miller and Verna Campbell. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Advent Lutheran Church, 1516 Edison St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685, with Pastor Bob Cheyney, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
