Robert Steven Ingebo passed away on January 14, 2026 at the age of 73.
Steve was a devoted father who deeply loved his children. He was a gifted musician who enjoyed writing music and playing the piano, and a creative thinker with a lifelong passion for learning and expression.
Self employed for over 40 years, Steve was also a writer who contributed political articles to Canada Free Press and authored a book. His creativity extended into technology, where he designed a computer game called Speculation.
Active in his church, Steve valued faith and community. He enjoyed hiking and camping in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania, as well as bowling and golfing with family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his son, Shawn David Ingebo, and parents, Robert and Lucy Ingebo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, April Mae (Edwards) Ingebo; daughters, Bethany (Jason) Bowen, Elizabeth (Cody) Clark; grandchildren, Hannah Elsass, Hope Elsass, Amber Eagle, Isaac Eagle (Morgan Cooper), Brandon (Jaylee) Eagle, Mackenzie Clark; great grandchild, Hendrix Eagle.
A special thanks to very close friend Tedd Berry for all the loving care he gave to Steve.
Family and friends will be received Monday, January 19th from 11am to 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 106 E. Howe Rd. Tallmadge, OH 44278. Funeral service will begin at 12pm with burial to follow at Palmyra West Cemetery. Donations may be made to Suncrest Hospice, 6100 Rockside Woods Boulevard North, Suite 240 Independence, OH 44131.
