Ronnie A. Mace

Ronnie A. Mace, 76, went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2026.

Born in Sutton, WV, he served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1974. He retired from R.C. Musson Rubber after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his two grandchildren.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Wilber and Madelene (Green) Mace, and sisters, Sharon Jean and Charlotte Clevenger. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Melinda Mace; son, Ronnie A. Mace II (Kim); grandchildren, Britney and Brantley Mace; brothers, John Wood of Lambertville, NJ, David Mace of Burnsville, WV, and Charles Mace of Williamsburg, VA; sisters, Marie Mace of Gassaway, WV, Midge Burkhammer of Weston, WV, and Carla Creed of Philippi, WV; best friends, Julius Wingo and Craig Pfister.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, March 22 from 12 to 2pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund (kidneyfund.org)
