Rosemarie Barbour

Rosemarie Barbour (Avery) passed away on September 16, 2022. She was born in Akron, Ohio on September 5, 1947 to John (Jack) Avery and Lillian Avery (Daly). She attended St. Mary’s High School and also Buchtel High School where she graduated in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lillian Avery. She leaves behind her husband, Allen Barbour; her brother, Robert Avery of Los Angeles; sisters-in-law, Dura Barbour and Joyce Contessa; and many special nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Rose loved nature and had a special love and bond with The Great Smoky Mountains and was a long time member of The Great Smoky Mountain Association.

At Rose’s request, services will be attended by immediate family only. She asked that she be remembered in your prayers and also in the special memories she shared with each of you.
