Sharon L. Willingham

Sharon L. Willingham, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2022.

Born in Akron, she was a resident of Brimfield. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and was a homemaker for 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, painting, crafts, and baking. But most of all, she loved being a great mom and granny.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucille; her loving husband of 60 years, Ronnie; and grandson, Troy. She is survived by her daughters, Robin (James) McHenry and Lori (Joseph) Falat; grandchildren, Todd, Joey (Hannah), Taylor (Dylan); and brother, James (Marsha) Roberts. 

The family would like to thank InCare Hospice for all the care and support shown throughout the last year, with a special thanks to Sharon’s nursing team, Ashley, Cassie, Anna, Jessica, and Nikki.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, January 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 5th at 12 p.m with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
