Thelma Swartz

"Together Again" Thelma Swartz, age 100½, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born in Suffield, she lived most of her life in Mogadore, Ohio. Thelma was a homemaker, but worked for Mogadore Schools for a short period in the cafeteria. She was a member of Mogadore Christian Church. Thelma enjoyed going to garage sales and crocheting. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max I. Swartz; son, Max Swartz II; great-grandson, Jason; and sister, Betty Moore, Thelma is survived by her daughter, Jill (Dennis) Wright; grandchildren, Shelly, Mark, Kate, Stefanie, Dave and Cody; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Ambur, Amanda, Madison, Joshua, Caleb, Alex, Brady and Izzy; great-great-grandchildren, Corinne and Emre; and sister, Nancy (George) Calcei. A very special thank you to granddaughter Shelly for always being there and taking such good care of Grammy. The family would also like to thank Summa Hospice and her caregivers Linda, Jeannie and Joyce for all their love and care throughout these last four months. They were able to keep her in her home till the end. Cremation has taken place. Private burial will take place at a later date.
