Thomas F. Taylor
July 8, 1940 — September 3, 2023
Thomas F. Taylor, 83, passed away September 3, 2023. He lived in New Castle, PA and Akron, OH. He enjoyed beading and making necklaces, as well as fishing, police shows, day program activities at The Blick Center, and family visits.
Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Wimer; step-father, Raymond Wimer; brothers, Robert Taylor and Mike Nelson; and sisters, Carol Strittmatter and Kathy Huff. He is survived by his sisters, Martha Brophy, Linda Nelson, and Beatrice Platt.
Family and friends will be received Monday, September 11th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 12th at 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
