Vada M. Tonkovich

Vada Maxine Tonkovich, age 84, passed away on December 5, 2021. She was born in Suffield, Ohio and lived in Akron, Ohio. She is preceded in death by parents, Claude L. and Ruth L. (Wise) Blue, brother, Thurman Blue, and son, Roland Jay Tonkovich. Vada is survived by her sons Randy (Cindy) and Tom (Rosemarie); daughter, Gail M. Tonkovich; grandchildren, Michael J. Tonkovich, Kevin R. (Courtney) Sterchi; great-grandchildren, Michael Thomas Tonkovich and Jeffrey, John, and Justus Sterchi, and Jacob Horton. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Cleveland Clinic Akron General for their exceptional care of Vada and to the Akron Seventh Adventist Church for their support and guidance. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 655 E Waterloo Rd. Akron, OH 44306 at 11:00 am. The church requests that masks be worn during services and that social distancing be maintained. Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio.
