William E. "Bill" Eberz

William E. “Bill” Eberz, age 60, passed away June 14, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Akron and lived in the Springfield/Suffield areas most of his life. Bill was employed for 30 years with UPS, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going to the cabin, riding 4-wheelers and shooting guns. Preceded in death by parents, Gerry and Pete Eberz; and sister, Yvonne.

He is survived by son, Tom of Suffield; daughter, Heather N. of Green; brothers, Joe (Marie) Eberz of Lakemore, George (Lynne) Eberz of Barberton; nieces, nephews and many beloved cousins.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, with funeral services following at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Visiting Nurse, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
