William R. "Bill" Pepper

William R. “Bill” Pepper, age 57, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, following a long battle with Leukemia.

Bill graduated from Ellet High School in 1977, was employed at Kenmore Construction for 17 years, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Pepper. He is survived by his mother, Gretchen Pepper; sister, Margaret (Jim) McCans; nieces, Amanda (Zach) Fox and Katie (Andrew) Guran; nephew, Matt McCans; and grand-nephew, Aaron Fox.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 3rd at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Monday, August 4th at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
