William G. "Bill" Jones

William G. “Bill” Jones William G. Jones, 75, passed away at his home on January 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Akron and was a life resident of the area. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had retired after many years of service from Akron Steel Treating. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Renate; sons, Steven (Kristin) and Douglas; grandsons, Nathan and Derek; and brother, Ernest (Lori). Private services and burial will be held for the family.
