William Harold McCutcheon

Together Again

(William) Harold McCutcheon, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2023.

Raised in Williamsburg, West Virginia, Harold served in the Navy during the Korean War on the destroyer U.S.S. KEPPLER (DD-765) from 1952-1955. He eventually moved to Akron, Ohio, where he met his wife of 65 years, Leith McCutcheon, and settled in Uniontown, OH. Harold was a faithful, lifelong member of Cornerstone Free Methodist Church. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family, told the best stories, and was an avid train collector.

Harold is preceded in death by his father John A. McCutcheon, mother Mattie Losh McCutcheon, sister Geraldine, brother John, and wife Leith McCutcheon. Harold is survived his brother Carl, his sister Delores, his children Steve(Denise), Marti (John) and Scott(Jen), his nieces and nephews Bob (Penny), Jayne, Chuck (Tracey), and Lorna, his grandchildren Steve (Taylor), Josh (Janelle), Brianna, Brandon (Marissa), Katy, Ben and Elli, and his great-grandchildren Kellett, Cohen, Cameron, Reid, Brielle, and Kaiya.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, December 30^th from 12 to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m.
