William R. Noland

William R. Noland, 88, passed away May 31, 2023. Born in Reedy, WV he was a resident of Akron. William graduated from Central High School and worked at Betsy Ross Foods for 30 years. He was a member of the Mogadore VFW and lifetime member of the Mogadore Moose Club. He enjoyed watching baseball and football.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; sons, Billy and Ron; parents, Amon T. and Lula E. (Hornbeck) Noland; and siblings, Eugene, Virginia, Warren, and Harley. He is survived by his son, David (Gail) Noland; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brother, Jack; and sister, Helen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to David Noland in care of Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, June 4^th from 4 to 7 p.m. and Monday, June 5^th from 12 to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 5^th at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
