William J. Turrentine-Hershey, 27, passed away unexpectedly August 17, 2026.

Billy graduated from Kenmore High School with his Golden Diploma in 2017. He loved being a mechanic, working at State 8 Motorcycle, and previously worked at Regina’s Pizza and House of LaRose. Billy enjoyed fishing, online computer gaming, and riding his motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his dog, Caesar, and his family and friends.

Billy is survived by his parents, William Hershey and Virginia LaForce; sisters, Sara Turrentine, Danielle LaForce, Courtney Suzuki; grandmothers, Patty Turrentine and Linda Collie; nephew, Caleb LaForce; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins; and roommate, Daniel Sackett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teri Turrentine; grandparents, Bill Collie, Terry Hershey, Geraldine Baker; and uncle Eric LaForce.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, August 25th from 4 to 7pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. A service will begin at 7pm.
