Yvonne C. Crafton (nee Burd (nee Heggedus))

Yvonne unexpectedly went to her heavenly home on July 20, 2022.

In her own words…

I heard a voice calling me home today, I followed. Now I’m surrounded by the white light of Christ. Do not weep, for I am at peace with family who left before me.  Once again, I can hold my mother’s hand, Shirley C Burd, (nee Helems). A Dad who gave his all, Franklin B Burd. A granddaughter who I will embrace in heaven, Annastasia D. Boone. I leave behind a brother who means the world to me, David F Burd. A man I adore, Paul A. Crafton. A daughter who I love Brandy M. Boone, (nee Heggedus). A son-in-law, I loved and prayed for a hedge of protection surrounding him, Aaron Boone. My best grandson, “the Boy", I adored, cherished, and loved with all my heart, Zachary Ryan Boone. I hope I have helped somebody in this life to have a better day.

Yvonne, devoted to our Lord, Jesus Christ, read scriptures from the bible every day.  She was humble, loyal, faithful and generous.   One of her biggest contributions in life was caring for the elderly with her loving hands and comforting the families with her presence with her smile and a twinkle in her eyes.

Yvonne is survived by her loving husband Paul of 40 years; daughter Brandy (Aaron); grandson, Zachary Boone; brother, David Burd; Brother in laws, Sam Crafton and Mick (Betty) Crafton; Sister in law Diane Broadwater; along with many other family and friends.

A celebration of life for Yvonne will be held at Monroe Falls Park, at the Meadow View shelter, 1088 North Avenue, (Route 91), Tallmadge, Ohio, Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 1:00-7:00pm.  Details can be found at www.evite.com/s/g1ZbzNNzFh/sie
